The Rent 'N King account under which rentals, charges, payments, and Reward activity are recorded.
An individual, business, organization, or other customer with an eligible Rent 'N King Customer Account that:
The Customer Account has no amount currently due or past due and is not otherwise restricted or administratively excluded.
A rental transaction eligible to earn Rewards under current Program Rules.
A promotional benefit recorded by Rent 'N King that may, while valid and available, be applied toward an eligible future transaction under then-current Program Rules. Rewards are not cash, stored value, deposits, gift cards, customer account credits, or money held for the customer.
The currently recorded promotional Rewards associated with a Customer Account. It does not represent money owed by Rent 'N King.
The then-current operational rules established by Rent 'N King, including earning rates, redemption value, qualifying transactions, exclusions, expiration, redemption limits, participating locations, stacking rules, and other mechanics.
The Rewards Program is a voluntary promotional program offered solely at Rent 'N King's discretion. Eligible customers are automatically included unless the Current Program Rules provide otherwise. No separate membership fee is required. Participation creates no ownership, cash, stored-value, property, contractual, or other vested right in any Reward or Reward Balance.
Actual program mechanics are governed by the current Rent 'N King Loyalty configuration and applicable Program Rules. These include the earning rate, calculation method, redemption value, qualifying rental charges, excluded charges, when Rewards become available, expiration, redemption restrictions, participating locations, stacking rules, and special eligibility rules. Current economic values are not fixed by this agreement and may change under Section 15.
A customer may continue earning and accumulating Rewards while an amount is due, but must be in Good Standing to REDEEM Rewards.
If a customer owes ANY amount currently due or past due — including $0.01 — Rewards cannot be redeemed until the account is brought current. Earning is not affected: the customer keeps earning and accumulating Rewards while a balance is due. There is no grace threshold, no de minimis exception, and no waiting period for the redemption block. A charge or invoice that exists but is not yet due does not by itself make the customer delinquent.
Qualifying amounts due can include rental, damage, fuel, tax, delivery/pickup, late charges, repair, service, administration, returned payments, chargebacks, collections, or any other amount currently due.
While an amount is currently due:
Once all amounts currently due have been paid to $0.00, accumulated Rewards may again be redeemed automatically, provided the customer is otherwise eligible for the Rewards Program. This does not override an administrative exclusion (see Section 5). A notice or reminder may be sent as a courtesy, but advance notice is not a prerequisite.
Separately from automatic delinquency suspension, Rent 'N King may designate a customer Rewards Ineligible. Reasons may include abusive, threatening, or harassing conduct; mistreatment of employees, customers, or vendors; fraud or suspected fraud; theft or suspected theft; abusive chargebacks; payment fraud; intentional equipment abuse; repeated rental-policy violations; Rewards manipulation; duplicate-account abuse; false information; repeated account problems; prior bad debt; collection activity; written-off or uncollectible debt; unacceptable operational, financial, safety, or reputational risk; or another legitimate business reason.
A Rewards Ineligible customer cannot earn or redeem Rewards. Paying a balance does not automatically restore this status — only an authorized administrator may restore eligibility. Unused Rewards may be suspended or canceled.
Rewards are earned only on Qualifying Rentals under current Program Rules. Unless specifically configured otherwise, excluded items include non-rental charges such as taxes, deposits, fuel, damage, repairs, penalties, late fees, administrative fees, delivery/pickup, financing charges, account payments, and other excluded non-rental charges. Canceled, fraudulent, unpaid, reversed, or invalid transactions do not earn Rewards. Rewards become available according to existing program behavior and current configuration.
Rewards may only be redeemed by an eligible customer, while the account is in Good Standing, toward an eligible transaction, and under current Program Rules. Rewards cannot pay an existing delinquent debt, convert to cash, be withdrawn, create a cash refund, or be used for excluded charges unless expressly permitted.
Rewards earned through a business, company, or organization belong to the Customer Account, not the individual employee who booked the rental. If an employee leaves, the Rewards remain with the company Customer Account. Authorized redemption remains governed by customer-account authorization.
Rewards must follow the final actual eligible rental value. If a transaction is canceled, refunded, reduced, reversed, charged back, disputed, or otherwise adjusted, the associated Rewards must be recalculated. For a partial refund, Rewards are reversed proportionally according to the final qualifying amount. Rent 'N King may correct system, data, or calculation errors as necessary. Existing transaction records remain authoritative.
Rewards are generally nontransferable. They cannot be sold, traded, assigned, pledged, or exchanged for value. Rent 'N King may merge duplicate accounts belonging to the same customer or business. Duplicate accounts created to improperly obtain Rewards are prohibited.
Rewards have no inheritance or cash value. Unused Rewards may be canceled when an individual Customer Account is permanently closed, an individual customer dies, or a business dissolves or closes. Any exception is discretionary.
Eligibility for employees, affiliates, and vendors may be separately controlled by current Program Rules.
Rewards may only be combined with coupons, contractor pricing, promotional offers, special rates, or other discounts where the Current Program Rules or the specific promotion permits it.
Rewards have no cash value. Rewards are promotional benefits only. They are not cash, customer deposits, accounts-receivable credits, stored value, gift cards, bank accounts, trust funds, customer property, or promises of future payment.
A display such as "Rewards Available: $250" does not mean Rent 'N King owes the customer $250. It means only that the account currently has a promotional benefit with a currently stated redemption value under the current rules.
Rewards have no guaranteed future value. Earning Rewards does not guarantee continued operation of the program, continued customer eligibility, continued availability, current redemption value, current eligible products, or eventual redemption.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rent 'N King may at any time change, restrict, suspend, withdraw, discontinue, or terminate the Rewards Program. Rent 'N King may change earning rates, redemption values, eligibility rules, expiration, eligible rentals, excluded charges, limits, locations, features, or any other program rule. Rent 'N King may also cancel, restrict, suspend, reduce, withdraw, or eliminate unredeemed Rewards.
This applies regardless of the number of Rewards, the displayed Reward Balance, customer tenure, prior rental amount, or expectation of future redemption. Unless required by law, Rent 'N King has no obligation to continue the program, preserve a particular Reward value, provide a final redemption period, replace canceled Rewards, convert them, pay cash, or compensate the customer. A final redemption period may be offered at Rent 'N King's discretion but is not guaranteed.
Changes may be communicated through one or more reasonable methods, including the website, the Loyalty page, the customer portal, email, SMS, printed notice, in-store notice, or another reasonable method. Failure to receive a courtesy notice does not preserve an expired or previous rule except where law requires otherwise.
Displayed Rewards can occasionally be incorrect due to processing delays, incorrect account information, software errors, synchronization errors, duplicate records, cancellations, reversals, or administrative issues. Underlying qualifying rental and payment records control. Rent 'N King may correct an erroneous Reward Balance. A technical error does not create a right to Rewards that were not legitimately earned.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, program availability is not guaranteed and systems may experience errors or delays. Rent 'N King is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising solely from the Rewards Program. A Reward calculation error may be remedied by correcting the Reward record. Nothing in these Terms waives rights that legally cannot be waived.
Rewards apply at participating Rent 'N King locations according to current Program Rules.
Rewards interact with tax according to the system's canonical tax logic and the Current Program Rules. Rent 'N King does not represent any particular tax treatment in this agreement beyond the mechanics the system applies.
Rewards Program participation is subject to Rent 'N King's current privacy practices and policy. Participation does not permit a customer to access another customer's Reward information.
Rent 'N King administers and interprets the Rewards Program and may make reasonable decisions needed to calculate Rewards, determine eligibility, correct errors, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, resolve duplicate accounts, and protect program integrity.
Applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Tennessee govern the Rewards Program.
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder continues to the extent allowed by law.
The current published Terms are displayed publicly. Prior published versions remain retained for administrative, compliance, and history purposes.
